double exposure photography

I took photos of my younger sibling and digitally combined them with gothic imagery. They were kind enough to let me cover their face in makeup and fake blood to create the spooky mood I wanted. I was looking to convey a sense of pulp horror. I learned how to create digital double exposure effects and how to create a compelling composition by aligning elements of different photographs. These photographs communicate a sense of uneasiness in the case of the cemetery to outright horror in the bloody lightning.
